Hydrogen relevance: Total
In the context of demand-side hydrogen relevance, the proportion of employees in hydrogen-related industries and/or transport sectors is presented. By comparing the demand-side hydrogen relevance with the production potential, four types of circles are defined: Heavy User, Powerhouse, Self-User, and Observer.
The skill gap illustrates the gap or distance between the required competence profiles for the future hydrogen economy and the current distribution of competencies in the labor market.
The Skill Gap Index is relative: it shows in which circles the distance between the current and target distribution is smaller or larger compared to other circles.
